Dr. Sheehy is the past President of IPRO the Physicians Peer Review Organization for the State of New York. This organization is the officially recognized authority for approval of medical standards and practices for Federal and State Medicare and Medicaid benefits and also for the private medical community. Dr. Sheehy is well recognized by the medical community for his leadership in the IPRO. He was also elected, by the medical community, to serve as President of our County Medical Society. All PEG physicians are Board Certified in their specialties, which include Orthopedic Surgery, Neurological Surgery, General Surgery, Oral Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Micro/Hand Surgery, Neurology, Cardiology, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Pulmonary Medicine, Psychiatry, Dental, Otolaryngology (ENT), Gastroenterology, Chiropractic and Psychology.
